Radio Sarang is the first community radio station of Dakshina Kannada and is the only station in Karnataka to broadcast programmes in four local languages – Kannada, Tulu, Konkani and Beary. Presently, it broadcasts programmes for terrestrial radio for 16 hours, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Besides, its presence in digital media through its app has made it possible to reach audiences worldwide 24 hours a day.
